Campbell Harris is a registered examination centre for private candidates (sometimes known as external candidates or independent candidates) We offer the major examination boards.

• Edexcel
• AQA (Assessment and Qualifications Alliance)
• OCR (Oxford, Cambridge and RSA Examinations)
• WJEC (Welsh Joint Education Committee)

   GCSE RESULTS

GCSE's results are released to Centres on Tuesday 24th August.  You can come to the College to claim your results on Tuesday between 11am and 3pm.  You should bring with you your ID.  Otherwise the results will be sent to you in one of the envelopes you left with us on Thursday 26th (when we receive the paper statements of results) so, assuming a 1st class stamp has been used, you should receive them on Friday.  We cannot give results out by telephone or email.

We can accept external candidates for any subject or unit from any board as long as there is no practical (except for Edexcel - see below), oral (except Edexcel specifications) or coursework component unless it is existing work marks to be transferred to a future entry or the coursework component is adminstered by a recognised distance learning organistion.  However, we can occasionally supervise and adminster coursework if you take lessons with one of our staff.

We go out of our way to provide external candidates with an efficient service, looking after all of the administration. It is vital that you adhere to the deadlines set by us - these reflect the examination boards' deadlines but tend to be earlier.  Coursework delivered beyond our deadline for submission may not be accepted.

In addition we offer AS and A2 practical courses to cover the Chemistry and Physics (one course per subject per level) .  These courses run for 4 mornings or afternoons.  The fee is £400 for Chemisrty and £350 for Phsyics.  These courses tend to fuill up quickly so early booking is recommended.  Please enquire by emailing principal@campbellharris.co.uk
